Our Mission

Pivotal Moments draws on the strength of people in our communities and their stories to change young peoples’ lives, to motivate them, to give them strength and courage, and lead them on a path to become an inspiration to future generations. Pivotal Moments creates special events and raises funds to assist young people with overcoming obstacles and adversity in health, wellness and education.

John's Toast

John’s Toast is a celebration of life, love and laughter that brings anyone participating a few moments of carefree reflection to their life. It’s a moment in time when hundreds-of-thousands can smile while remembering those who are no longer with us while strengthening bonds with those still here.

Mizuno Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic

The Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic competition is a 1,000+ team tournament held annually in Washington D.C. that helps young women qualify for national events.

Heroines of Washington

Heroines of Washington is one of Washington’s most unique events, recognizing and honoring women in the DC Metro Area for their dedication to community service.

The Junior Draft Picks

Our mission is to provide kids that have autism or special needs with opportunities that are often overlooked to ensure that their physical needs are met.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), founded in 1949, is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.

Robert Morgan

President & Co-founder

Robert serves as President & Co-founder of Pivotal Moments. He also serves as the President of Caneel, LLC where he provides investments and business advisory services to small and mid size growth companies. Robert assists consulting and technology companies with corporate development in the areas of corporate strategy, strategic relationships, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, and leadership. Robert is a co-founder, Board Director and Executive Advisor of MorganFranklin Consulting and served as its CEO from its creation in 1998 until 2013.

Jeana Foster

Executive Director

Jeana’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others is evident in her personal involvement with numerous charitable organizations. Jeana feels blessed to have turned her compassion for helping others into a prominent part of her career. She has been actively involved with various charities for more than 16 years, raising more than $6 million throughout her career. Jeana began her career as Director of Special Events with the American Cancer Society in Princeton, NJ, before working for the American Heart Association and Greater Washington Sports Alliance.

An Intimate Evening With O.A.R.

John’s Toast will host an acoustic O.A.R. show on October 23, 2017 to benefit our charitable partner, Pivotal Moments. An acoustic trio featuring lead-singer Marc Roberge, guitarist Richard On and drummer Chris Culos will entertain guests with your favorite O.A.R. songs while raising funds that will directly impact an online educational platform, created by EverFi, benefiting kids, teenagers, young adults, and their support systems who might be facing various warning signs of mental wellness.
